I remeber the good old days when you were actually given a players tie after you had played for the 1st XV. No such honours these days! Joan just says "show me the money"!

I have been at the club for over 30years and was never given a player's or a club tie and had to buy them. Also you were only allowed to buy a club badge you obtain 30 points which were accumulated by playing for the various sides. 1 point for a first team game,1/2 point for a second team game and 1/4 point for thirds, fourths or youth.

I was pretty sure I was given a tie at some point but maybe I was mistaken. I have both a club tie and a players tie but my Dad nicked them off me when I left Llandaff for club dinners past.
Also any news on the new club shirts?
I must have qualified for my badge 10 times over I reckon, how much are they Bernard? What do reckon it would look like sewn into a muscle top? You know that’s what Titch will be asking!

I reckon you'd look lovely in a muscle top Woody. Let it all hang out!!!
By the way, anybody got a guitar?

Ripppor, maybe 10 times over was a bit of an exaggeration but I reckon I have played enough games to qualify for a badge. I played 2 years with Llandaff youth, I played a couple of seasons for Llandaff 2 XV before leaving for pastures new, during that time I still had 1 or 2 games for Llandaff 2XV, I have played 4 vets games last year and this year and I have played 17 1 XV games this season just gone. I reckon that’s about 30 points or there abouts!
What about you Rippppor you must have qualified, have you got your badge?
Only 2 days left till the club dinner, I can't wait it's going to be a great laugh.

Sounds like you have kept a diary of all the games you have played, what are your stats like?
My badge has been received & has been put in a safe place ready for when im old to go on a double breasted dark navy blue blazer with shinny gold buttons. Thats unless the youth of today start wearing such fasion items, then I will get the badge out alot sooner.
yep bring on saturday!!

Cheers Rip, just thinking that a guitar may be better than a piano for a singalong. Any news on whether last years sing off loser, Legend Lomax, is able to join us?

Not sure if Lomax will be at the dinner, it wouldnt surprise me if he was. Otherwise I think the club along with the BBC have set up a live link to Oz where Gaz will be interviewed & presented with 'A Life Time Achievment Award' Not sure In what though that is up to you lot?

Rippppor, my stats are amazing, on and off the field as you well know.
Glad to hear you have already teed up your navy blue double breasted blazer with the gold shiny buttons for when your older! Just where your badge belongs!
I think an acoustic set with Steve would be a great idea for the club dinner. I know that Mullins and Maggot are back from Oz but i'm not sure if Gaz was travelling back with them?
Maybe he's keeping it as a surprise, I reckon he'll be there, I can't see him missing the sing off!
As for life time achievement award, that has to be for smelling!
